what people think of us...
“Throughout the duration of our dealing with Saxonby they have been honest in their approach, in addition, whenever there has been a difficulty requiring third party input, they have been quick to manage the situation and have organised resources to be able to address the issues.”
“It was a pleasure to work with Saxonby. I was particularly impressed with the added value that they brought to the project as well as delivering the scheme on time and in budget”
“We have found Saxonby Land & Planning Services to be a very professional company addressing and assisting us with our project at Bridgewater Street Whitchurch. They assisted us with designing the optimum scheme for the site , offering a mix of houses and apartments that would appeal to the regional Housing Associations for the provision of social housing. We were able to address ecology , design , and archaeological matters calling upon the experience of the Saxonby team , and this resulted in a successful consent being approved. We would certainly be prepared to work with the Saxonby team on future projects.”
Leintwardine sod cutting
Elgar Housing held a sod cutting ceremony recently at Saxonby’s Leintwardine development on the Shropshire/Herefordshire border. It was attended by local MP Bill Wiggin, who had travelled from London to be there, as well as Councillor Olwyn Barnett, chairman of Herefordshire Council, Jonathan Slade, chairman and Claire Huyton, executive director at Elgar Housing.
All the speakers highlighted the importance of providing housing for local people with decisions about such developments being made not in Westminster but at parish council level. They also recognised Saxonby’s contribution and the importance of not only providing homes but sustainable buildings that are energy-efficient, contain renewable heating sources and are built to strict Code 3 guidelines.
