Saxonby Group launches Land & Planning Services arm to business

A Shropshire home builder has launched a new arm to its business aimed at people interested in freeing their land for development.
Saxonby Land & Planning Services is a ‘no planning, no fee’ offering from Shrewsbury based Saxonby which it hopes will provide smallholders, landowners and homeowners with plots of land, an opportunity to realise its potential.
Commenting on the new service, Saxonby director Andrew Copson said: “There are a number of complicated issues surrounding land development and often permission to build on or develop a piece of land is refused for reasons that are not always clearly understood, for example, if it is adjacent to existing settlements or has been SAMdev (Site Allocations and Management of Development) rejected.
“Our in-house team of property experts can assist with any planning related issues. From single new-build dwellings to large scale master planning and strategic land assembly we have the skill and expertise to successfully deliver a planning permission. Our honest and open approach to business allows us to work with clients every step of the way, ensuring that they are always aware of what is happening during this sometimes, complex process. We will also fund all of the appropriate technical work,” he added.
Saxonby is particularly interested in land that has been refused planning permission as well as historic failed applications, which can be reviewed and promoted, where appropriate, through the appeal process. More information is available by emailing planning@saxonby.com.
