Saxonby to offer Checkmate warranty
04/02/2011

Following Zurich’s withdrawal of its building warranty products from the market Saxonby is delighted to announce our decision to work in partnership with Checkmate.
Following a strategic review of all building warranty providers we decided that the innovative approach Checkmate is taking will transform the industry. Joint managing directors Paul Cooper and Martin Horsler are previous employees of Zurich and have developed a product that shares our values and offers security to mortgage lenders, of which the Castle 10 policy is recognised by over 99 percent of the mortgage market.
James Wood, operations director at Saxonby, said: “As new lifetime members we look forward to working with Checkmate and are convinced that its product and service is unrivalled by competitors. It was initially disappointing that Zurich withdrew but as a result we can now offer our clients a superior product.”
The Checkmate warranty is in place for Elgar Housing Association at Saxonby’s 20 house development in Leintwardine on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border.
